I have all my time on log ten pro and printed it out on their paper they have available for order and put it together in their binder. It wasn't cheap, but it looks great. I'm taking both that and all of my logbooks done in pen with the endorsements. i'm not sure what you mean by a "logbookpro printout".

I don't. I have been using logbook pro and have not put a single entry in my original logbook in over 3 years. I prefer the way the logbook pro printout looks anyway; it's much easier to read then my handwriting.

I figure if the airline wants to pick that as a reason to not hire you, you're better off somehwere else anyway.

I agree. It took me three months to get my logbook how i wanted it with log ten pro, and a good amount of time to print the thing. it looks great and it shows that your going through the effort to make it look clean.

thats not to say you shouldn't bring the originals with the endorsements.

I guess I could have worded that better. I would bring my original logbook with the endorsements, and would supplement that with the electronic printout. Basically, I wouldn't put too much thought as to how they will look at your logbook as long as the times add up and make sense. I have flown with guys who take their pay sheets each month, and enter the whole month of flying as one entry. I personally log my time as one entry per day, since that's the most you can do with the APDL import function as far as I know.

You should always bring an updated logbook to an interview, now weather it has to be the original paper log or an electronic printout is debatable. The reason you want to bring all your original paper logs is if the company wants to see endorsements, signatures, etc. If your electronic version is up-to-date and matches the times on your application or whatever else the company as you fill out, you should be fine. I think once you move to some major airline and you have thousands of hours, the paper log comes somewhat less important. I know several major airline pilots that showed up and interviewed with only an electronic printout, but at the regional level they still seem to be more anal, especially Eagle from what it sounds like. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I usually bring an electronic printout of my logbook and use that as my "presentation logbook" for the interviewer, as it is easier from them to read and review, but if there are any questions I'll have my original paper log nearby. That should clear up the logbook issue

well i have my hard logbook with all the endorsments etc from my flight training days and my logbook pro which has all my 121 time but i dont think i have the time to get the paper and the nice binder the other gentlman was discussing. next week. so i guess i'll transfer over everything to the hard log just to be on the safe side.
