From what I understand the mins. are, 1000TT, 200M with 121 or 135 experience and was employed within the previous 12 months. Not sure what the average TT is going into the interview.

Seems like if you haven't had a flying job in the past 12 months, you can pretty much forget about it...

No, don't! You'll just torq 'em off because they'll have to remove their shoes to count that high.

why would anybody want this job. i'm on my third year here and i'm still on reserve in one of the most junior bases we have. i've been displaced into three bases and continue to be the company's b****. if you get hired right now you will be on reserve indefinitaly. i'm not going to sugar coat what your getting yourself into. it's only fair you know. pay is below the poverty line. rsv people get paid way lower than a line pilot. be prepared to pay for crashpads and hotels and spend 260+ days away from your home. In a crashpad you will probably end up sleeping with 6+ people in a single room. this company isn't a family. there's 2 family's in this company. those that have been here for 15+ years and those that haven't. the senior people always have a way to belittle you and make sure you have a bad day. that's just how it is and it's not going to change.

Great, another employed pilot telling UNemployed pilots not to go to this or that airline. So, what do you suggest us unemployed Pilots should do? If it is so horrible for you, then please quit so an UNemloyed pilot can work and collect a paycheck and support his family.

It never fails here on APC. Like I said in many posts, it does not matter which airline or company is hiring there will always be people b!tching.

Really? I have flown with senior and junior CAs, all were very nice and helpful. I don't know how it is over the pond in SJU, I heard that the CAs there think they're are GOD....

I enjoy working here but I did qualify for food stamps and children's medicaid this month lol. Still better than no paycheck.

Question: (01-08-10) On Jetnet Careers it shows a vacancy for 130 FO positions.

Are these positions going to be filled by the recalls that haven't started class yet?

Is there ball number of how many Eagle plans on hiring to fill the remaining vacancies?

Response: The 130 positions are New Hire positions only.

All remaining furloughed pilots were recalled on 15 Dec and have been included in the latest Flow Plan and 56 of them have offset some of the 142 unfilled vacancies from the 13 Dec vacancy/displacement bid.

Another bid later this year should create more unfilled vacancies to round out the expected 130 new hires this year, based upon current attrition.

You should probably leave then. No one around here needs people like you. Maybe you should support new hires so your lifestyle will improve. You wont get out of the "most junior base" without having pilots below you.

There are jobs out there waiting for you that you might just find pride in. You need to go search for them.
