You'll be contacted by phone and asked if your still interested and what days your available for interview. Phone interview? No, if I remember right, my phone call was what I stated above and they will ask if your flight time is the same as your application and will ask if anything else from your application has changed. They may confirm criminal and traffic violations on the phone as well.

? # 1 - Are the newbies going to be thrown into the CRJ's or EMJ's?

? # 2 - Since 50 seaters are the main squeeze are these new hires destined
to be yet again furloughed not so long from now if the 50's are on
their way out?
#1 - Still several vacancies on CRJ and EMJ. Most current ATR pilots will likely go to jets. Most new hires will be MIA or SJU ATR.

#2 - Company stated they have no intentions to park any EMJ's. At one point they were going to transfer EMJ's to DFW to replace all but 2 CRJ's. Company has been known to do something other than what they state, but I really think our fleet will remain the same. Maybe a handful of -135's may be parked, I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt park anything.

I think bgmann is right, most new hires are probably destined for the ATR.

I think they'll call you. They called me. That is, after I called them.

They'll call you and ask if you want the Rock or Miami. Ahhh...I'll take the Rock por favor

I would almost bet money [but I am a FO so I wont] everyone will be taking ATP written criteria for the interview. I am sure there are several ATP and Part 121 furloughs out there. Company will get cream of the crop.
