Hang in there. TT requirements will have to come down again at some point in the not too distant future.

Just my opinion, not inside info.

Had a 43, 47, and 48 Y/O on my interview date who got the pre-offer's!

Thanks for ruling that out. Found out today they do not accept FE time towards total time.

That is serious BS and I'm sorry to hear it...

You did say you went to ERAU. It may be a looong shot, but I know they have accepted ERAU grads with 500TT if they get a letter of rec from the school. Contact the Deans office if you can and see about getting something working (even if you went to ERAU many years ago). Its worth a shot, and we'd be happy to have you onboard!

The ERAU bridge requires the following:
B.S. degree in Aeronautical Science/Aviation
Minimum 3.0 cum GPA
Comm or ATP with multi and instrument
First Class Medical
500 TT (no sim)
75 ME (no sim)
250 PIC
FA 420/FA 422 Airline Crew Flight Technique Analysis
Recommendation from Flight Department

The interview is also guaranteed if the following is met. I don't know how this won't filter out on airlineapps. My guess if someone at HR will get the recommendation or notice and take care of it.

Insiders at AE told me I would need to do the Regional Jet Standards Course and become ATP recommended. Then I may get an interview with 500/75... But maybe they did no see the ERAU Grad on my resume. I meet all those requirements except the FA 420/422 Crew Flight Technique Analysis and the Recommendation fro Flight Dept??? What kind of a recommendation?? Is the FA 420/422 a course I must take through ERAU? Any chance of getting credit for it after 20+ years flying in multi place aircraft?

Again, Thanks for all the help!

1. What kind of recommendation?
It's a simple letter of recommendation. I got my letter of recommendation from my employer and I was still able to go interview under the "ERAU / Eagle bridge Program."

2. Do I need to take the FA420/422 through ERAU?
Yes...BUT...talk to Brian Carhide. He might be able to point you in the right direction [email protected]. He is the Program Manager in career services Daytona Beach, FL.

3. Any chance of getting credit for it after 20+ years flying in multi place aircraft?
I'm going to guess no. Talk to Brian Carhide

Out of curiosity, when you do the post-interview paperwork and you are faxing stuff to former employees, is it just your flying jobs or does it also include your non-flying jobs? For instance I worked a quick non-flying job in 2007 wonder if they will need to send paperwork for them. I only worked for them for about a month. I know they want to hear about it on the application but was curious if they did any paperwork on it. I know they do not remember me and doubt they have any paperwork on it. I haven't interviewed but was just curious.
