My buddy is in the class that started today. Good to know there were no SJU and ATR's. I hope that they call me soon. I want the jet too! Do you think they will hire more into DFW?

Next class is suppose to have DFW EmJ and/or ATR

Nothing is for sure in this business. It can be a couple of class all jets and suddenly appears a couple of ATRs, like in the Oct 25 class.

Be prepared for anything. Don't think in a matter of TurboProp or Jet, it is a job right?

If I lived in the DFW area I would be praying to sweet baby J that I got the DFW ATR instead of the EMB. DFW EMB Reserve will mean lots of deadhead trips to JFK in February to work the late night flight to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Or if youre lucky you will get sent to ORD for a 6day trip through the midwest with overnights in hotspots like Fargo ND!

On DFW ATR you will probably spend a lot more time at home in DFW, and even if you are shipped out on RSV it will be to MIA, SJU is overstaffed and I doubt you will get a trip down to the islands.

Just something to consider...

Class started today, anyone know what was offered for bases/equip? I think there were supposed to be about 25 pilots starting today.

I answer my own questions because I am cool

1 DFW EMB
1 DFW ATR
8 LGA CRJ
2 ORD CRJ
13 ORD EMB
3 ATR MIA

CRJ went senior, EMB Some seniors & some middle & junior.

One of the ATRs went pretty senior (like #10 or so), the las 3 ATRs went the most junior.

Almost everybody was happy about their assignment and equipment.
