I live in Seattle, lets say I was hired and based in ORD or NY. How feasable is it as a new FO to commute SEA to ORD? I assume I would be reserve, how would that work out?

Impossible... hell... commuting at a regional on reserve PERIOD is extremely difficult... going halfway across the country is completely impossible... you'd have to live there...

Has Eagle gone below their 1000/100 to hire anyone of late? I figured with all the candidates on the street, they haven't had to.

Thats coprrect, they havent dipped below the 1000/100 mark as of late, but it never hurts to get your application in even if you dont meet the mins yet. If you keep updating your flight times it will show you are pretty serious about getting hired with Eagle when you do eventually meet the 1000/100 reqs.

That's what I did. I got the call for interview at 1350/105, if you can get a recommendation from an FO or someone that work in Eagle will get you the interview faster.

Anyone getting the nod with no internal rec? If so, what is your experience level? Also, when they ask about speeding tickets is that for the past 5 yrs? 10 yrs? My license was suspended for about a month around 1998 because I didn't pay a ticket. Should I include that on airline apps? Thanks

Anyone know if being a former ramper for AE would have any pull?

Also could someone PM me an address or name for someone in pilot recruiting that the base manager could send a letter of rec to?

Thanks!

95% chance that you will be on reserve six straight days and one day off. You either start very early or end late which leaves you to zero flights to Seattle. very difficult commute from NYC to SEA( physically ) but you may be able to get dfw base out of training.

Good luck

Does Eagle still do the "astronaut physical".......draw blood, blood pressure checks, height & weight, etc?

Can someone please explain the medical process and what the captain's board is all about?

Thx
