Eagle is hiring and we are supposed to continue hiring through next year, approx 300 pilots for 2011!

Some of the most common offering for newhires lately have been:
OFE- ORD FO ERJ
NFC- LGA FO CRJ
SFA- SJU FO ATR
DFA- DFW FO ATR
MFA- MIA FO ATR

Classes start every 2 weeks on a Monday, last class started Oct 25 and consisted of:

3 ERJ
3 CRJ
3 ATR

The company recently posted a vacancy bid as follows:

*VACANCIES* *ENTER TRAINING NO LATER THAN*¶
<51 ORD CA CRJ <01 AUG 11¶
<31 ORD FO CRJ <01 AUG 11¶
<58 DFW CA EMJ <01 AUG 11¶
<22 DFW FO EMJ <01 AUG 11¶
<05 JFK CA EMJ <01 AUG 11¶
<02 LAX CA EMJ <01 AUG 11¶
<04 DFW FO ATR <01 AUG 11¶
<05 MIA CA ATR <01 AUG 11¶
<01 MIA FO ATR <01 AUG 11

WE WILL NOT BACKFILL DCC, DFC, THE FIRST 4 JFE, 2 NCE, 25 NFE¶
46 OFE, 9 SCA, AND 9 SFA.¶

This gives you an idea where they need pilots the most. As you can tell, there are 121 Captain Vacancies in this bid, which will drop the most junior upgrade into the 2004 DOH range.

"WE WILL NOT BACKFILL.." from above means that the company is overstaffed in those listed positions and wont replace the pilots who bid out of those statuses. 4 JFE, 2 NCE, 25 NFE, 46 OFE, 9 SCA, AND 9 SFA.¶

There is movement at Eagle because of continued aircraft deliveries. I believe we have 13 more CRJ700s scheduled for delivery approx one every 2-3 weeks. Eagle is also anticipating 180 AE CAs to transfer to AA because of a flowthrough agreement that has since expired, but those CAs have seniority numbers and are expected to begin transferring at the earliest Jan 2011. After those 180 transfer, there are an additional 254 AE CAs who have not yet chose to go to AA or stay at Eagle, but will be offered the choice along with AA furloughed pilots being recalled.

The min reqs for Eagle are 1000TT/100ME, and you can apply at airlineapps.com. There are lots of Eagle pilots who read this thread and are willing to help answer questions, and give things to you from the eyes of a line pilot here. Good luck!

Correction to the above. Monday's class was:

6 ERJ
3 CRJ
3 ATR

Was a class of 12, and they sprung the ATRs on the class about an hour prior to aircraft selection. Ouch!

Thanks for the correction. I was thinking 9 people would be a little small for a class size. Were the ATRs offered for SJU?

The three guys seemed pretty cool with it.

Got a chance to catch up with them this week.
