I know I asked something similar before, but can someone at Eagle chime in with some seniority list info....
If a new hire wants ORD CRJ, would it be best to go with ORD ERJ for the base and wait to transfer after the year is up...OR would it be best to go to LGA CRJ and wait to transfer bases asap? Basically, how often does ORD CRJ open up and what is the most jr DOH for ORD CRJ? Thanks for the info! I'm just happy to be here period, but want to be educated.

If you get LGA CRJ then you will be able to transfer to ORD CRJ when a vacancy opens. It is hard to say how long until that happens, could be 1 month, or 1 year.
Now forget everything I typed above, because in the event of a Displacement Bid you can get kicked out of say LGA ERJ and put in a Displacement Preference for ORD CRJ and be awarded it. When you get displaced from your equip/base status then you can go to anything your seniority can hold. Displacements tend to be rare, so dont hold your breath for one.
4/26/10 is current junior ORD FO CRJ (OFC) but there are some pilots who were hired LGA FO CRJ (NFC) 6/21/10 and were recently awarded a transfer to OFC. The Flow Plan is posted on jetnet and shows dates for transfers/training/upgrades/etc so it looks like those guys from 6/21/10 will actually start flying ORD in December.

Eagle doesnt allow FOs to transfer from the ERJ to CRJ. If you can't get the CRJ initially (either ORD or LGA) then go with the ATR for a year and transfer to the CRJ when the seatlock expires.

Oh wow, ok. I thought the seatlock was for all equipment for 1 year, then anything was fair game. Glad I asked. I appreciate the info, looks like I have a lot to consider. Is QOL relatively better for ORD ERJ FO's than it is for ORD CRJ FO's since there is more movement? ORD makes sense for me, but I have a couple years on the CRJ elsewhere, so I'm torn!

I would go ORD ERJ if I were you. There is a TON of ORD ERJ flying, compared to the amount of ORD CRJ flying. With more flying comes more variety in trips, ability to trip trade, pick up open time, etc. There have also been a lot of ORD ERJ FO vacancies lately, so you might see better relative seniority progression on the ERJ.
