The gouges are pretty spot on and there will be a medical exam at a later date if you make it past the first stage.
It goes like this:
1. Interview - HR, Technical, and Sim. Make it through the day and you receive a conditional offer. Study well for the interview and know your stuff. They are all very nice and upfront with you but if you come in unprepared or with bad paperwork/inconsistencies you will be sent home.
2. Wait 3-4 weeks - There is a ton of paperwork that needs to come back and the thing that'll take the longest is the driving record check. Also make sure you follow up with any previous employers so that you ensure those forms make it back to Eagle.
3. CA review board - You won't be present for this but your application is reviewed by a bunch of Captains every Friday.....I think, or maybe every other Friday or something.
4. If you get approved by the CA review board they fly you out to Dallas for a medical exam. The medical exam consists of a hearing test and a drug test.
5. You sit in the pool and wait for a class after that. They will give you a two week notice so that you can square things away with your current job.
Anyone know how big the pool is right now?

I have heard the item that takes the longest (for most) is the previous employer responses. I requested a copy of my PRIA report so I should know when they receive that. I would think the criminal background check should happen pretty quickly.

Sweet thanks for the information, when you call to schedule the interview (I guess it's only mon-wed), how stern are they for you showing up the next Monday? Is it hard to have them push it a week?
Thanks
Thanks

Not at all stern. They offered me May 5th but we would be on a cruise so she scheduled it for the next Wed. the 12th. No pressure at all.

On another note, does anybody know what the future plans for LGA EMJ are? I remember seeing something about bringing the fleet down to 7 EMJ's due to the CRJ arrival, meaning they'd probably have to displace, but I can't find it anywhere on Jetnet. Right now we have a little over 90 FO's here, so cutting back to 7 a/c (if that number is right) would be a pretty big displacement...Thanks
I'm wondering if they are going to TDY Chicago or DFW crews in to fly the CRJs when they first get going?
I haven't heard anything about a displacement. Seems like every time I go through long term EMJ training I get displaced.

Dunno. I'm a recall on NFE...there are 6 other new hires that are NFE. We're not sure what they plan on doing there. There weren't any bid packets for June LGA CRJ.
