Default not kidding

If you think I mean "kidding" that updating the online application resulted in "discrepancies" so he was dismissed without an interview- no not kidding.

If you think I mean "kidding" about finding a way to get the interview still- no, not kidding. It doesn't seem right that by updating the online application to be sure it's current should disqualify for an interview.

AE has a ton of paperwork and he spent weeks making sure everything was correct, even went to the Las Vegas Pilot Job fair just to pre-meet with AE to be sure it was all correct.

Full disclosure- I am not a pilot, just know a few.

People get asked to leave from interviews all the time for what ever reasons. He can reapply in 6 months.

Just wondering if there is a secret to getting a interview here? I have 2500+ hrs with 1000+ hrs of CRJ 700 time, an internal recommendation and I went to the job fair last November in New York and had face to face time with AE there. I'm now curious if I've dequaled myself from one because I have gone on airlineapps to update my app several times. Just curious. Thanks guys.

I think you'll have a better answer if you ask the person that wrote the letter of recommendation for you. Ask that person for an update how your application is looking, he/she may have a better chance of getting a reply from hr.

Seems when he added more details, updated his hours and made sure all the i's were dotted and the t's crossed it flagged as too many changes. Seems a shame that by trying to be sure what AE had in their system was the most up-to-date instead of the old data from his application that he was sent home. Anyone know if there is a way (and how) to appeal to get the interview? Since he never was interviewed, can he re-apply and how? Any help appreciated.
If this was the guy that was in my interview slot at the end of April, then I can tell you exactly why he was sent home. He originally stated on his application that he had no prior busted checkrides. However, when he updated his application right before the interview, he magically had at least one busted checkride.

Although that wasn't the guy, after I talked to my friend, turns out it was some tickets, check-ride and address discrepancies. They did tell him he could re-apply. Oh well; but he has moved on and hopefully something better will come up.
