I was wondering, for those of you who got class dates, do they let you know anything about the results of the board before they let you know your class date? It's been a month since I've interviewed and was just wondering what the time frame is on getting a call/rejection. Thanks.

beagle pilot is giving some great advice.... just wanna add one more thing.

Each diffrent aircraft has its own lingo and phrasiology. If you hangout with guys from a different equipment type than your own, DO NOT STUDY WITH THEM!!!!! You will learn the wrong stuff, just by listening to them. Have a beer with them and hang out all you want, but when its study time stick to your own airplane class mates. Good luck!!!!

I interviewed on Feb 9th and just got the call saying that I passed the board. It took about a month and a week from interview to the call. He said that my class will be mid to late April.

So, from rumors...6 guys started today will all be on the ATR. Anyone have any idea about Mar 29? Wasnt a new flow plan coming out today?

Thanks, ccjax. I interviewed a month from today, so I guess if I'm lucky I might get a call next week. That is, if the 5 week waiting period is the trend. I'm getting bored of being a furloughed pilot, so even the words 'ground school' and 'ready reserve' are starting to sound good to me.

SECTION 4
NEW HIRES
A. PAY AND PER DIEM
A new hire pilot will be paid for a minimum of sixty-four (64) hours of pay
per month, plus per diem for sixteen (16) hours daily until completion of
Initial Operating Experience. In the event that a new hire pilot works less
than a full month, the guarantee will be prorated accordingly.

This is in the contracted dated 01JAN09, like I said, unless it changed.
Make sure to read the contract. You'll live by it.
