Those are the official minimums... (just checked right now in Airlineapps.com)

# American Eagle’s qualifications are as follows:

-Commercial Pilots Certification with multi-engine and instrument ratings
- Total Fixed wing of 1000 hours preferred
- Multi-engine fixed wing time of 200 hours preferred
- A current flying job (12 month experience)
- Current FAA First Class Medical
- IFR Currency
- FCC License
- Possess the ability to work in the US
- Possess the ability to travel in and out of the US to all cities/countries served by American Eagle
- Ability to relocate
- Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and overnight trips
- Minimum age 21
* Flight time requirements are commensurate with experience

The following preferred requirements are common amongst Eagle’s most successful applicants:
- Actual instrument time to be 10% of total time
- Six months experience with a Part 121 or Part 135 operation
- ATP Certificate or successful completion of valid ATP written test
- Hours flown in most recent 12 months to exceed 100 hours
- Fixed wing multi-engine turboprop experience
- College Degree

Currently I have
- 1,075 total
-62 Multi time
- 12 month experience
- 12 months of 135 experience
- College Degree
- IFR current

Do you guys think I can have a chance to work with them???? I'm trying to build some multiengine time this month so at least the see that I'm working to rise them.

BTW... the application still say that the minimum time is 500 total time...

Well I need to start somewhere...right??? I've been CFI and flying banners for almost 2 years... I want to get in some line and start my airline career.

Where else is hiring now with my flight time??? Nobody as my concern... I've been looking and applying anywhere... so I might take a shot.

i suppose that'd make sense. i guess overall a good thing then there is no training bubble or wondering where you'll stand over a 6 month period.

I know what your saying; but you will get sucked into something you will look back at years later and wish you were never a part of. People who tell you otherwise have either been EXTREMELY lucky, or are in denial
