why you say that?
the hiring here at AE is only for 100 F/O's for the new 22 CRJ's.
anything else would be from FT's leaving by choice, the MEC's choice.
S
ince everyone wants the 244 out so they can have a job, which it appers everyone has an opinion on it. I think it is appropriate any thread mentioning FT's, deserve what it gets.
Besides it shows the prespective new hire what a back stabbing lying, self serving union leadership they would have, for at least now. Oh, the union leadership would then be senior to the new hires here so the leadership would have to watch out.
One good turn deserves another.

Sorry to deviate off the main road, but it is related. Since the arbitrator has stated the 500 don't have to go if they don't want to go and, if that holds true, then the projections of 500-1000 vacancies at Eagle over the next year or two won't materialize. At the moment, it appears the only vacancies will be filling the right seats of the 22 CRJs (about 100) and attrition.
This low rate of hire also correlates to a low rate of movement. For someone in desperate need of turbine time and medical insurance, it's a good opportunity. For someone looking for quick movement to a hard line and an upgrade in less than five years, it wouldn't be a good fit.

The entire purpose of punting the hardships to an arbitrator was to 1) give ALPA National liability coverage and 2) keep the process as difficult to obtain as normal. Financial hardships were not going to be a factor anymore than normal. Have a nice day.

Ae
Yes,I believe they had two sets of paper work to sign.
Funny, how s$$t rolls down hill. Total stagnation. Glad I walked away from aviation in 03. Hopefully, things will start moving again. I question why it takes an arbitrator 60-90 days to make a decision. Is that to give them time to leave the country and set up a new residence?
AA is just as stagnated as AE. Same ol same ol attitudes.

Maybe they are sending everyone to SJU and weren't planning on it the time of the interview?

I interviewed in February and they had us fill out that paperwork while we were there. So I am sure they just forgot to hand it out to you guys.
