Default Flight Express Hiring

I just got an email back from Flight Express. Adam Scudder said to fill out the on-line application about the middle of August for a first or second week of September class. I inquired because of their base in FTY, but you have to go where the send you, and I'm only interested in FTY, so I won't be trying for this one. Good luck ya'll!

Default Another email update

I got another email update today from Adam. He told me to get my stuff together as the class date is 8-24-2009. I'm still not planning to re-submit my stuff as I'm not willing to move to any base at this time. Hope this helps.

Good to hear that somebody is offering some work out there. If you are getting a job offer what are the competitive times they are looking at?

I find it a bit strange that FLX doesn't do any interviews. From what I've heard, it is basically show up for class and if you make it through training you got a job.

Any idea where these upcoming new-hires might get based?

First day is basically the interview. They give you a cup to pee in and then you do a quick sim ride. If you pass the sim then you return the next day to go through training and if you pass the final exam you are given flight training, if you pass flight training you are given $1000 and $90/day for the time you were in training. Then you have about a week to get out to your base.

All I heard about bases was FL somewhere, possibly TPA.
