Default D.C. Area jobs

Hey all,
I'm a furloughed CRJ FO looking to see if anyone knows of any flying jobs in the greater DC area especially IAD, HEF, or JYO. If you could shoot me any openings I could really use them.... Thanks guys for the help

Tell you what, in this kind of environment you are better off looking for instructor jobs. No one that I know of in the DC area is hiring except for flight schools. Stay current and make some money while you wait for the next upswing at the airlines......we all are. PM me, I am looking for CFIs!

Just do what you gotta do to stay in an airplane.... and review your contract well.... there may be a provision that states if furloughed and you get a job that requires a contract of some sort that does not expire prior to being recalled you may defer recall until all contractual provisions are met.
Just a thought.

Just a tip: when he holds up a pen and says do you know what this is?

Say "yes".

Don't say, "it's a pen".

Dulles Aviation is a good place to be instructing for many different reasons. Pay is above average as far as flight instructors go nationwide. Plus, when flight training slows, they always have a contract with the DOD for marine and navy IFS training. So you should usually have students if you want to work.

trafficplanes.com

check them out, had a buddy built a good chunk of hours there and made a little more than while he was instructing. you may be able to work around a flight instructing job too and double dip.
