again a question for those who have worked here in the past. what times did you have when you got hired? I also understand that there are some multi-engine aircraft, how competitive is it to get in those aircraft and what times to you need?

I had 275/18. I know that most, if not all, had between 260 to 310 total time. They don't care how much multi you have. It is VERY hard to get the Aztecs. Your best bet would be to fly all this season in the 172, and then talk to the bosses constantly about your intent to return for another season. If you are 100% committed to another season, they will seriously consider you for the next season. This season, 0% chance of flying the Aztec--too many people returned from last season that has seniority.

btw, for whoever else was asking... I got hired in mid Sept and training started in mid Oct. I had about 315 and 40 multi at the time. I don't think they care about times as much as airlines do, Bob just wants someone capable, motivated and dependable.
oh yeah, and someone mentioned buring bridges.. yeah, I would recommend not doing that.. I left with two months remaining in the season because I got offered a job with a regional (I applied early thinking I wouldn't get called for an interview until about the time the season was over.. but they called right away)... to this day, I still feel terrible for it, esp because Bob was such a great boss.

My e-mail was directed to us ex-Landcare pilots, to see which ones of us will return. After our responses are all sent, I am assuming they will use that number to determine how many more pilots they will need (best guess would be they will need 8-9 pilots). They will be interviewing the next 2-3 weeks, most likely; so I would assume if they want to interview you, they will either call or e-mail you within that time period.
