Default Networking help in Phili area

Does anyone have any helpful advice on trade meetings, FBO meetings, or other types of get togethers in the Phili area in which to network for future employment?

are you looking for an instructor job? I could help you out there. I do live in the area.

BBFlyer,

Thank you but I am looking for a corporate flying job PART 91/135 in the Phili area that offers QOL. I am retiring from the military after 15 years of flying and wish to continue. But if I can find a instructing job that pays well I might consider it.

Thanks,
Spanky

Actually I'm looking for the same thing...... cause I'm currently instructing. There are some small 135 ops at some of the airports in the area. I know doylestown has 2 king airs, hortman at pne has like 5 citations, pottstown has 2 conquests, midlantic has a decent size operation at acy...... I know theres more but those are the ones that I have come in contact with so far. You're right though, you need to know them personally to get a job, which is why I try to meet the owners/pilots of these places everytime I'm through on a x-c or something. I still need to instruct and build more time but I'll be looking for the same thing soon. Good luck to you.

Also, forgot to add this. Ace Insurance has 3 gulfstreams at pne which would be a dream for me and I know there are many more at ttn which I haven't even starting looking at yet.

I can probably answer some questions about Hortman if either of you are interested. I would prefer IM though.
