Re-location Help
To All:
Have to relocate? Told about this by a buddy who used the service, he saved a bunch of money. They are a Buyers Advocate, they work for you and it costs you nothing. You pay zero real estate commission as well as significantly reduced closing costs. You can search for property while on a trip and if you see somthing you like they pick you up on arrival and show any interesting homes. It's run by Pilots for Pilots. Check out the web site, www.pilotreferralservices.com . Nice to have some help in this crazy time!!!

One of my ex-squadron buds is using them now, he's doing a double move (sell in one city, move to another), and they are helping him in both cities. They gave him a lot of good info, and he said it didn't cost him anything.
He said they were real helpful.

My wife was a buyer’s agent for years. This is nothing new, just someone new jumping in on the real-estate market.
Some buyers agents are horrible and you’d do better with a sellers agent (who you also don’t have to pay, they are both paid for out of the listing agents commission).
Just know the market and what you’re getting into. The best thing you can do when buying a house is pay for your own home inspection and don’t use anyone the realtor (or buying agent) recommends!
