Hiring has not slowed down, they need pilots. Scenic will not look at anything other than a properly filled out application from their website. It's the only way they roll.

What date did you choose?

They offered the 16th or the 23ed of April for an interview. I decided on the 23ed to make sure I could get the time off work.

I have a DHC-6 parked on my ramp right now, N94AR, it looks like a blast to fly. The only thing that could be better is if it were on floats. Does Scenic letter their first officers so they can log the time no questions asked?

Sorry, of course I mean August not April.

Thanks.

It's probably been mentioned before hand, can't remember if it's on this message board or another, but do most of the pilots get a place and live together.

Also, what's an apartment cost around the Vegas/Boulder City area?

I think around $600-$800.

When did you send the resumes out? I sent mine out on July 21st, and haven't heard anything back yet

Cool, good luck on the 23rd. FO's can log the time...no questions asked. It's all legit.

Some pilots live together. I don't. Most people get here and find something temporary if they don't want to live on their own and get together with people in their class or just get to know other pilots already here that have rooms open. Most people live in Henderson. You can find a one bedroom from 500-1000 bucks...just depends on what you want. I myself like to have a nicer place so I pay more than something ghetto'ish. Whatever floats your boat.

Did you send a resume to GCA or Scenic? You'll need to fill out the online application on Scenics' website to apply for them.
