As we approach mid 2024, do you have any updates you can share with the members / users ?

Thank you

This entire site is broken. The people running it don't care to fix it. Every day more and more glitches show up and nothing ever gets fixed. It would be kinder if this place would just get shut down and allow a new forum to take its place.

I'll bring it up again. I have a list of stuff, some of which will never be a priority given what I assume are limited resources.

My workaround for the green banner is to hit enter a couple-three times, so I start typing below the banner. The editor will close up the space at the top when you submit anyway.

Let's see. It works! Thanks for the work around, Rick!

I would think that something that happens every time a post is made is something that would be a little higher priority. Also don't forget about browser spell check disabled in your text boxes. Is that some kind of spam preventer or something? Any way, super annoying and probably unnecessary.

So for the last week or so, I've noticed that when viewing the site on my Iphone, either in Safari or Firefox, that it no longer takes you to a mobile site and instead presents the desktop version. The problem with that is that there are so many side ads that the viewing area becomes too small to read anything. All the text is crammed into very narrow columns. Also, there seems to be a bug where it gets stuck in a loop where it keeps adding hearts to the search this thread, rate this thread, new posts, community, etc., sections and it gets stuck adding hearts in a loop.
Very annoying.

All mobile browsers should have an option to select desktop mode, check to see if that's toggled.

There doesn't appear to be any difference between the desktop and mobile version, whereas previously there was.
