yep. You can click on his profile and see his post history. He’s in training at United. His opinion on Hawaiians MEC and the merger means less than nothing. He’s one of those pilots just passing through Hawaiian to put it on the resume with zero intention of ever staying. Why he is so butthurt about the MEC is beyond me.

"outlined a new Company plan to open up the ATC parking lot to non-pilot HA employees. The MEC strongly opposes this course reversal from the Company, less than six months after they explicitly assured ALPA that the lot would be pilots-only.
The MEC is engaging with the Company on this issue and working to learn more about the ramifications. If the Company is intent on pursuing this short-sighted decision, we will need to determine what the impact will be on our current ATC parking arrangement, including future shuttle frequency and expected lot space availability. We will also be seeking a basic assurance that future pilots will have priority for ATC lot spots over other employees.
The MEC is adamant that the lot should continue to be reserved for the exclusive use of our growing pilot group, and will continue to strenuously advocate on your behalf. If you have experienced any issues regarding parking, in particular concerning the ATC lot, please send us those DARTsso we can present Management with an accurate understanding of the current issues."
Have I read the parking lot section of the Contract? Most likely not. On simple matters of parking lot infrastructure, common sense should count for something. Every other airport in the country doesn't seem to have this parking problem. Elliot street seemed to work, then we lost access. I'm sure that is some form of DOT stupidity, possibly not up to the Company? But I get it. We live in a State that would rather have accessible beach parking than continue to have our #1 econmic driver.
Like I have said, the Company cannot even get this minor detail ironed out. Quite literally H-1 traffic watch and employee parking emails are about the only constant over the last several years. Add in no real gameplan every time 8L is on the fritz due to shoddy local construction work, or now the 2nd/3rd/4th time the oldest 717 sim in the World breaks down (remember that 717 DL contract we squandered?). AK buying us and hopefully replacing most of HQ is a more than welcome scenario.

As you see the MOB Mentality reacts immediately whenever I post a fact. May I suggest that HA pilots do their research and seek a diverse perspective? I have no skin in the game, consider me looking in from the outside.
One more thing, I would ask the Negotiating Chair, the 90-hour guy for the last 4 years, to put it in writing that fences will be established. My intel tells me that he stated "Fences are not needed", get him to put it in writing to the pilot group. Careful he is very smooth in his communication and he has the MOB Mentality behind him.

A letter of no confidence? What is this, high school? Are you going to write a strongly worded petition next? Outside of the regionals, nobody is writing letters of no confidence.
Say you do write one and demand that the CEO get replaced. Do you think any board of directors, even if they want to get rid of the guy, is going to go ahead with it? Of course not, beceause now it looks like they are doing something because the union told them to do it.

-On June 15, 2022, Delta MEC issued a letter of No Confidence to the BOD regarding Delta Flight Operations.
