I promise you if I had access to the survey results I would publish them just so you would ****.
Your experience is the exact opposite of mine, as 90% of the people I fly with are happy. I can’t imagine how painful a SYD trip would be where you complained the entire time. You have been here ~3 years? You are flying a widebody 3 day international trip with 2 legs that pays 22 hours and has a 24 hour layover in SYD, and all you do is complain…then you hang out in the lounge on the layover complaining more? I hate flying with whiners.
You hate the current MEC/NC, got it. I’ll say it again, be the change you want. Actually start a grass roots recall and email the pilot group, it’s been done successfully before (I was here and supported it). Pass some resolutions to change all these policies that you are SO against. But please stop living in the past and actually DO something! Or if you really did move on to UAL, then why are you still here?
Fish or cut bait, but stop telling us you don’t like the smell of fish.
IMUA already!

Joined after the merger announcement to what? Distract us? Nice try.
We are united as a pilot group and commited to achieving the best possible JCBA with our Alaska brothers and sisters.

can think an entire replacement of the MEC with pilots completely new to the game would be beneficial in any way shape or form?....
Hawaiian, like Alaska are two exceptional pilot groups that have survived numerous challenges and the airlines themselves are the two that survived deregulation against intense competition
and fewer resources than the larger airlines. Perhaps if he's gone on to UAL he wants to see the merger fail.

Assume that other than these threads (squawk 7500), this "recall drive" is essentially not real? And again, I respect your right to stand up in Hyde Park on a podium and scream vendettas at the world. But you now come across less like a fed-up recent hire (per the character you have created for this website) and more like a MUCH more senior pilot with a very specific set of agendas... or perhaps (most likely) not a pilot at all. But you sure want us to think that you are one. And whether you are a pilot or not, you sure want the pilots at Alaska (all 3 of them that actually waste their time reading this) to think that we are a bunch of real pieces of work. No better way to divide and conquer the MECs before a joint negotiation than to engage in some psychological warfare and build some walls. I will venture a guess that you at least dabble in finance, in the same way that someone who is paid by Citadel to write "news" copy on Seeking Alpha dabbles. To manipulate public sentiment.
Where is the "in-group" discussion site for the recall effort and how does one join? Is it public? Or is it a "secret society"? Are you only allowed to join if of the same opinion? Are dissenting opinions and competing narratives allowed and respected there? If it is real, stand it up for anyone interested to join, not just the select few who wish to rise up against the current tyrannical MEC!
Post the link, in "unity"!
If this is real, get real with it and let APC go in peace.
Are you real, bro?

So brother..... I've been flying a (very) full schedule since the last time I mentioned to you that I hadn't heard a single peep about this recall drive on the line. Still haven't heard a solitary word outside of this board. You mentioned way back that a new discussion group about this was started sometime after you got cancelled on Voggers. Where is this other discussion board? Is that an invitation-only kind of deal? No publicity or blast emails? Not even a good word-of-mouth campaign like the last (successful and perhaps even justified) MEC recall? Need to be part of a certain closed "in-group" to know where to find it?

That's exactly right...MEC work is a huge time bandit and can be quite thankless work.....unfortunately, part of the job is you spend a lot of time dealing with a handful of pretty ungrateful pilots that just want to attack when in actuality they don't have a clue. Or worse, they have a couple clues and think they have all the answers.

yep. You can click on his profile and see his post history. He’s in training at United. His opinion on Hawaiians MEC and the merger means less than nothing. He’s one of those pilots just passing through Hawaiian to put it on the resume with zero intention of ever staying. Why he is so butthurt about the MEC is beyond me.
