Nothing else but data and facts, please, research the past and you will see how much this group is stealing from our dues!

I’m translating this post.

I want all the benefits of Alpa without paying the dues to make it run. All full time Alpa jobs should be done by people flying full schedules. We shouldn’t waste dues on safety, contract negotiations or leadership.

FO instructors might get that. At 90 hours PLUS recall, PLUS instructor override.

How much less money should full time ALPA pilots get? Less than instructors? Less than the average line holder in their category? Less than a reserve pilot?
I'm sorry I must have misunderstood ALPA positions, they are PAID POSITIONS? Wow I was always under the impression that you are a VOLUNTEER. The MEC needs to mention that in the job posting because this is a great deal, especially if you run with the Good Ole' Boys.

Maybe the next open MEC/ALPA position could be listed like this:

Safety Chair Position Open
-5-6 Paid ALPA Days a month.
-Take any day off you want including weekends and holidays.
-Work on your future career plans with HA executives.
-You don't need to understand anything about Safety.
-Always say YES to management.
-If you get injured you don't need to use your sick leave, ALPA will pay you.

Flight pay loss isn’t a new thing. We are witnessing you rediscover the wheel.

We had By-Laws that prevented any MEC/Chair from going into management for 3 years. This MEC changed the By-Laws and now it's allowed. HMMMMMMM?

This is supposed to prove what? Show me where it says you have to do everything the way the people before you did. Maybe there is a reason the past people are doing the job anymore. Could be burnout.

I thought this thread was to discuss the merger, now every thread is being taken over by this union stuff…no change is going happen by trolling these threads, there are other and better venues to get your voice heard.

I came here to get the deets on Ben’s wife’s hairdressers confirming an 80 aircraft Dreamliner order…not have another thread taken over by fostro. While on some points I agree, for the love of god stop hijacking every damn Hawaiian thread if you don’t even work here?

OK, we can't have them burnt out on PUB NIGHTS!

FACTS:
-No previous MEC Chair ever received a guarantee of 90 hours a month (4 years now).
-No previous MEC Chair worked remotely from home.
-No previous Negotiating Chair ever received a guarantee of 90 hours a month (4 years now).
-No previous Committee member ever received ALPA pay to avoid VEBA and sick leave.
-No previous Safety Chair received 5-6 days of ALPA pay monthly.

You should lobby the company to cut funding for safety!

They probably are using pro bono negotiators as well.

Can’t believe the hypocrisy!

For starters maybe you should look for other sources of information instead of a Forum online.

FYI I am an employee of HA.
