Sometimes a pilot wants to get on a committee to forward his own personal agenda, not what's best for the group.
i don't know you but you've made your position pretty clear on here about where you stand on divisive issues like vaccines , Jan 6 and the classic dog whistle , "liberal news media"......not a good fit for representing the whole pilot group. Hallmark of good CRM.... don't wear your politics or your spiritual beliefs on your sleeve....same is true when doing ALPA work.
I heard that the captain who signed up to run the instructor interviews for the union applied to be a check airman within a few months. This the kind of agenda you're talking about?

No...but to your point, there has always been pilots who cross over between union work and go into management...at all airlines. Plenty of Chief Pilots in the industry have a background in union work. Some pilots like to just fly their trips, others have a strong interest in the nuts and bolts of the airline and like to be involved in all sorts of ways. Personally I'm glad there are pilots that do get involved beyond just flying their trips.

Say you do write one and demand that the CEO get replaced. Do you think any board of directors, even if they want to get rid of the guy, is going to go ahead with it? Of course not, beceause now it looks like they are doing something because the union told them to do it.

You're over there playing checkers with your letter of no confidence.
TTail stop Dodging, are you hoping this just disappears? What's your response to your FALSE CLAIMS AGIAN? NO FACTS WITH THIS GROUP, only personal attacks.

Again MEC you need to do better, TTail isn't that bright!

Please Google and verify all my references regarding the "No Confidence" letters.

-JetBlue Pilots Voice "No Confidence" in Head of Airports System and Operations.
-On June 15, 2022, Delta MEC issued a letter of No Confidence to the BOD regarding Delta Flight Operations.

It doesn't get bigger than Delta TTail, or do you think Delta is a Regional? I'm asking because you aren't that bright and I don't want to hold you accountable if you don't know.

Good on the MEC member for potentially leaving money available for others on long term disability......he boasted about his college being really good so maybe he knows more than everyone else??....he sure doesn't understand how "Unity" works
So you're saying the MEC paid a COMMITTEE MEMBER a full-time schedule to save the VEBA fund? Ok, my college wasn't Ivy but top 30, as for you, let me guess straight to flight school. lol

Unity is what ALPA is built on, an upside-down pyramid, not 6 goons in bed with the company taking all our ALPA dues. I was reminded on "HU" that they are not goons, more like a bunch of dudes you would see on a Dateline sting.

Half Truths? Please prove me wrong on anything I have posted.

No Unity when you have corruption, you can't move forward until the corruption is taken out. LA PD ring a bell?

No MEC member is making more than executives of actual charities. Fostro out here discovering people who run volunteer organizations actually get paid. I wonder if he gets mad at Santa for not giving him enough presents. Time to grow up and stop playing make believe.

Let's just deal with the facts, AUDIT the last MEC Chairs ALPA pay versus the current. Let's also AUDIT the past Negitotiating Chairs ALPA pay versus the current. Not stopping there, let's AUDIT the past Safety Chairs ALPA pay versus the current. Finally, let's see if any ALPA member was ever paid a full schedule while being injured and avoiding VEBA.

Nothing else but data and facts, please, research the past and you will see how much this group is stealing from our dues!
