I see a lot of comments regarding the Union leadership, previous chairs versus current chairs and some other things that seem to be on people’s minds.

Just so you know, this is Sean Kimura, HAL MEC Block 3 rep. I will start by saying while I may not agree with the viewpoints I have read on here; I do respect that you have them and that you feel that way. I have several times since being elected approx. a year and a half ago offered to sit down with anyone who had any issues, including concerns with leadership to discuss anything they wanted to. So again, I am offering to sit down with you and discuss any issues you may have. If you don’t want to speak with me, I’m sure any of the MEC will be willing to sit down with you. I understand that venting on a forum sometimes helps, but if you really want to create change, I welcome you to be a part of it. I look forward to hearing from any of the HAL pilots on here. Sorry I must limit this to HAL pilots only. =)
Still waiting for an answer to the post below, hopefully, they will allow you to speak, the pyramid deserves to know these answers.

No response, maybe you would feel more comfortable responding via ALPA communications. How about you give the Pilot Group an explanation via an ALPA communication of the following questions below? If these are false claims then they should easily be validated by pay data or the like. I will not call you or email you because we are past that point now, all communication should be to the Pilot Group, you know the upside-down pyramid that ALPA is built on. Please stop communicating by singling out individuals, you need to address the Pilot Group as a whole, we are the pyramid.

- Why is your FLICA blocked?
- Why can't you post the Van usage log on an ALPA communication memo?
- Was it your idea for the Van?
- are you ok with ALPA pay on weekends and Holidays?
- are you ok with ALPA "Comp" days with no work hours being tracked on a spreadsheet?
- are you ok with the MEC Chair receiving 90 hrs a month without ever being in Hawaii working remotely?
- are you ok with the lead negotiator receiving 90 hrs a month without ever being in Hawaii working remotely?
- are you ok with a negotiating committee member out for two years on ALPA pay without entering VEBA?
- are you ok with the Vice Chair snowboarding while on ALPA pay and missing a TA road show?
- are you ok with the MEC buying a 50k van and not getting approval from the pilot group?
- are you ok with the MEC starting a LEC to avoid a pilot MEC vote?
- Can we please see all PUB Night and Christmas party costs?

No kidding. Sean will talk to you. He won’t babysit your unending suspicion but he’ll answer your questions.

Let's put your name on the board now. Are you ok with a negotiating committee member out for 2 years with a surfing injury receiving ALPA pay and not entering the VEBA program? I'm not, pretty sure 99.9% of the pyramid isn't either. Answer the question, please.

Just curious can you tell me what ALPA Block Rep is flying a full schedule? If their FLICA wasn't blocked we would see they don't fly, they eat lunch (that's obvious), party with execs, and discuss their next career moves. Currently, our MEC Chair is meeting with the AS CEO and creating an excellent relationship, just like he did with the HA COO, and looking at how it benefited the pyramid (65% Ratification).

PineappleXpres, you seem to be in the current MEC mix, can you tell me if there was ever a lower ALPA Ratification Vote than 65%? Just to put that into perspective that's a 1.0 GPA, not sure if you are a college graduate, but at my college, you wouldn't even be considered unless you had a 3.7 GPA and above.

I already answered that. Did I stutter or something?

For somebody who brags about having a great GPA your reading comprehension is pretty bad.
