They gave what sounded like reasonable answers to your questions so they must be on the MEC?

If memory serves me correctly, MEC elections are this fall (just in case your recall efforts are unsuccessful). I hope you’re busy drafting your campaign letter.

Excluding a short term interim chairman, the last 4 MEC chairman have been mainland commuters, so you have that going for you!

Beautiful day in Hawaii Nei!

I think everyone would agree it would be nice to see new blood in all positions. However, we also can all agree voter turnout and interest will be abysmal, and we’ll see mostly the same faces re-elected because they are familiar, even if we have record turnout of volunteers for the positions.

Most MEC and negotiators would resign after a 65% ratification vote and their reputations destroyed, but this is a new breed of pilots.

Your memory is incorrect, NO vote will occur once the MEC creates its new LEC. The LEC will elect the new MEC which should have this pilot group TERRIFIED.
,
Again, unlike this MEC and Negotiation committee, I am not running a RECALL, the pilot group is running the RECALL, you know the upside-down pyramid that ALPA is built on. After the RECALL is completed, I will run for Block 3 and when elected every pilot will know what was going on and who was "Gaming" the system. Just a reminder, I will be a VOLUNTEER, and my ALPA Pay, if any, will be displayed every month for all to view. I will also be pushing to remove the entire negotiating committee and any others who are company "YES" men, you know the type that are so well-liked by the company they want them on company promo videos.

Also, looking forward to you flying a full schedule, raising a family, and doing all the time consuming work involved in being in ALPA leadership.

My mouth? Do you mean facts that you haven't proven wrong yet? How about you prove what I am saying isn't factual?

Call me Junior all you want friend, but in the end, we will have new leadership with integrity!

Do you mean like normal line pilots?

Maybe you are talking about living in Maine full time, making 90 hours for the last 4 years, never using vacation, never using sick leave, positive space for pub nights, performing at a 65% (RATIFICATION), that type of time-consuming work?

Do you mean to move forward with the same group that every pilot I fly with is screaming about?

Let's move FORWARD with the RECALL, we need INTEGRITY, not self-interest!

Observing your posts it seems you wish to be mainland based in the West Coast (LAX I believe) and despise HAL leadership and the HAL MEC leadership. If that is correct, or even partially correct it seems you should have left HAL once you came to all, or any of these conclusions for an airline that meets what you want. It is surprising that you chose to apply to Hawaiian and even more surprising that you stuck around with the mindset you have toward the airline. You have always had the choice to leave, or are the other airlines worse to you (you seem to be enamored with AS so that doesn't seem to be the issue) or is it that you tried and they wouldn't hire you? The best way to show you dislike an airline is vote with your feet and go to another, plenty have left HAL for other airlines who have far far less dislike for HAL and the HAL MEC than you exhibit so it is just surprising you didn't just leave. Some have left simply bc they want to live on the mainland as you seem to want, but liked the company. With the trifecta of wanting to live on the mainland, dislike for HAL leadership and dislike for the HAL MEC why wait 2-3 or more years on the chance you MIGHT get a "grass is greener" situation and then finally get a chance to move to the mainland and the utopia of an airline where you love the leadership and union represenation? Why not just jump to whatever airline fits your desires of an LAX base and a great corporate and MEC leadership? All of those things don't make a lot of sense to have chosen HAL or stayed with HAL, pretty easy the last few years to jump for most folks and get what they want.
