Combining with Alaska Airlines for a Stronger

You should look at my screenname before you start ranting. This is my 3rd merger. And I should know better than to engage with you. Wrestling with pigs.
But in all seriousness, you're making your fellow HA pilots look bad with your nonstop ranting about ALPA and your trite "in unity" signoff.

I’d say the 30% whose dream job was HA or the ex aloha block are just fine. The rest find reasons to be upset.

Most guys and gals I’ve flown with have some trepidation and fear of the unknown future but understand the value in unity moving forward versus throwing spears at each other.

I'm glad your reading this because the AS group needs to know what our MEC is doing and the pilot group is not happy with it. Stay tuned, a RECALL is coming and my guess is the vote won't be a 65% ratification but at least in the top 90%. We have an excellence pilot group, just 5-7 bad apples ripping off the ALPA budget.

I think he's referring to the MEC chair that was in charge right before our current guy. He had a reputation for being a hard ass, but he's the only guy I can think of during my tenure here that wasn't out 100 percent for himself, and on top of that, wasn't buddy buddy with the management team, or hoping for a spot in management.

I’m glad he’s asking the tough questions though. The amount of defensive posts that pop up in response to anything he says is pretty eye opening. I’ve never come across anyone on the line with such unwavering loyalty to the current MEC; yet we have multiple on this relatively small (HAL pilot) community?
Let's see if they answer the questions, RECALL now!
