That's probably cos the initial start of the 321 program was pretty intense and anal retented. A guy (who funnily enough is on the 330 now) on Day 1 of 321 training gave me and my sim partner a hard time about the quality of the training and pilots from the 330 program, like he even knew anything about us. It WAS - Covid and this was a displacement event so who knows but we definitely have some special ones at HAL.

Fences will be a "MOOT" point when the A330 aircraft isn't around, the 321s will all be parked quicker than noodling a catfish!
Also, I believe fences are signed with current aircraft on the property, not future orders. When I got on the property we were told the 787 would be here by the end of the year, 2024, still nothing on the property. Maybe 3 787s will be fenced?

the options for another 10 787s probably won’t be exercised until after the acquisition. At that point who knows where they will go or if they would be fenced. My opinion is they will go to SEA and be in Alaska branding. (Or whatever Alaska rebrands the combined airline to)
My guess is the airline is going from 40% WB pilots to less than 15%. So for the people not far up on the current seniority list a 737 with long time to upgrade is the coming reality.
Amazon contract could help out some people but also no guarantees Alaska keeps it.

it’s a good thing all of this will be decided by mediation and arbitration. Literally none of what you are spewing matters.

Oh, so we don't need a good MEC or negotiating group? Thanks for letting me know that mediation and arbitration don't involve the negotiating group, I feel so much better.

A lot is done by the MEC and Negotiating team prior to that point. Arbitrators decide things when people can't agree. Problem with our team is that they agree to anything.

You guys are aware that the merger committee does the SLI right? How do you fault their track record when they literally don’t have one, as we have never had a merger before.
