Thats the self serving Asian mentality that predominates the pilot group here. When we furloughed during COVID there was a segment of selfish pilots who kicked up a stink about the union doing a dues payment to

For those of us who are unfamiliar with this phenomenon, perhaps you can describe in more detail these self-serving qualities of Asians you refer to? I'm assuming that this is in comparison to people who are not of Asian descent and who are presumably not self-serving?

I agree that mentality exists in a select few and I’m always for preventing furloughs regardless where I sit seniority wise. However, I meant more along the lines of make the money and smart financial decisions now to prep for the day we can’t…for those preaching doom and gloom out there.

Vast majority of the Asian-looking pilots I know at HAL bleed red, white, and blue so I’m just very confused by what the point is the shorts pilot is failing to make?
