It would appear as we are right staffed in most categories while overstaffed in 330P as six positions have been cancelled in addition to the 43 new hire slots, but movement and upgrades into the 330F and 787 would negate those.
The vacancy bid had 6 CXLs on the A330 PAX list. Any idea of where those 6 pilots go? They get pushed to other fleets or forced over to the cargo side?

your guess is as good as mine. It very much depends on what everybody senior to them does. Looking at the bid I would think they would only go freight if they wanted to. There’s enough FO slots on the 787 and a few on the 321 that HNL base is still where they can stay. Unless some cargo guys bid back to HNL they won’t be forced to freight.

looks like due to the freight freeze (1 year), earliest someone could move from freight to PAX is Q4 2024.

Plus the random pilot who bids 787...

Yes, HA is right on track according to the little circle metrics thingy. My kid is also doing great when I tell him a "C" is technically an "A". I just changed the goal post. Easy Peasy.

They go to wherever their seniority can hold. If that pushes another pilot off a fleet, that pilot goes to wherever their seniority can hold. Think there is "cannot be forced to CVG" language in the Contract? In that event, a pilot would have a choice... Furlough, or suck it up and head to the midwest. Typically, with such a small number of cancellations of current seat holders, I would doubt there would be much shuffling. Usually there is a cascade effect of training events, wasted training costs etc.... No way HA would waste money on uneccesary training... Oh wait... nevermind.

Is there any indication with the slowdown and ending of giving CJOs, how many more classes or people from the pool will be used throughout the year? Thanks

Breeze turned a profit. Koapaka is still talking about their emotions concerning the merger.
