Hiring roughly 16 a month through rest of year, however that can be made less especially with the news of PW.
Asking for a friend - any idea what the Aug 2 class looks like? Number of people, airframes? Mahalo!

They said they're doing classes of 8, twice a month. No idea what will be available.

Just received October 3rd class invitation email. (my interview was in May for reference...)

Some interesting information from the class invite email -
  • This will be a passenger only class. No 330F slots.
  • Next 330 freighter only class is expected to be very late 2023 or early 2024.
  • You can choose to wait for freighter only class if you want.
Very excited to finally have a firm date

that actually makes sense considering the all freight class that just started would cover the opening from the last vacancy bid. Also means we should have another vacancy bid around September or October time frame.

Just finished up my first week of indoc here at Hawaiian Airlines. I'm loving it so far! I'm one of the 7 cargo guys in the class. In the freighter class, two of us came from ABX and ATI. The others were regional pilots and one part 135 pilot. The passenger side originally had 10 scheduled to attend, but one got moved to a later class date. Passenger airframe breakdown was:
1 A330P
4 A321
4 717
Looking forward to seeing y'all down the line!

Thanks for the info! So was there a separate freighter class or did you just bid and get assigned aircraft by social security number?

Separate freight class of 7. We started a day earlier, then had a day off while the pax class had their day 1. We're all on the same syllabus now.
