No one knows really. Perhaps when more a330s arrive from the conversion place they will have a freight only class. However that will be after all pilots that are not seat locked on the current seniority list have had the chance to bid for it.

If so, will HAL announce those freight only classes to those waiting for the freight only classes?

Last I heard, there's are about 40 people with CJOs who have been deferring for a freighter only class. They will be running freighter only classes according to higher ups a couple months ago.

Just how big is the average class?
I know the 787 will be joining the fleet soon, probably no later than Christmas. The hiring will be continuous for a while, I guess.

Training
What is the training footprint (same for all fleets?) and where does HAL do indoc and sim training. I've heard that HAL does not provide housing during any training in HNL? is training any shorter if you already have the Airbus type rating?
