Thank you, I like that.

No one knows really. Perhaps when more a330s arrive from the conversion place they will have a freight only class. However that will be after all pilots that are not seat locked on the current seniority list have had the chance to bid for it.

If you received a CJO, is it possible to defer a class date until an official freight only class is posted?
If so, will HAL announce those freight only classes to those waiting for the freight only classes?
Thanks for sharing any info!

Last I heard, there's are about 40 people with CJOs who have been deferring for a freighter only class. They will be running freighter only classes according to higher ups a couple months ago.

Thanks.
Just how big is the average class?
I know the 787 will be joining the fleet soon, probably no later than Christmas. The hiring will be continuous for a while, I guess.

The avg class size right now seems to range from 8 to 12, twice a month. They slowed down hiring a little bit because training was having issues scheduling everyone efficiently.

Hiring should be continuing through next year

That seems to be almost like every other place when it comes to training, there will always be issues.
Thanks!

Question Training

What is the training footprint (same for all fleets?) and where does HAL do indoc and sim training. I've heard that HAL does not provide housing during any training in HNL? is training any shorter if you already have the Airbus type rating?
