Hawaiian Hiring FOs

I’m sure in the interview they would answer truthfully about the Cvg operating. But I don’t think anyone really knows what to expect. I guess you could become a sleuth and look up flights on flight aware or something and see how often flights depart. I would expect domestic cargo operation to initially suck, for a couple years especially in a newer environment. Eventually if it becomes international could be a great gig for commuters or anyone who wants to make northern Kentucky their bi t xch

That place used to be a blast and always packed!
Great restaurants and bars up in Mt. Adams, an array of condo's on the river downtown, huge homes with big yards on the Kentucky side or north of downtown. Rolling hills, Lexington and Louisville and hours drive away, with country in between, great for riding motorcycles. One of the best zoo's in America downtown (better than the SAN zoo IMO). Reds/Bengals games on the river downtown. King's Island amusement park used to be pretty fun until 2020 when the BLM'ers took it over for a time. It's also cheap to live so you don't have to all shop at the same Costco for your groceries. ( think it's called variety?) Oh, and a terminal with actual real food in it for those commutes/DH's.
Other than having no beaches, fewer Tacomas and midwest winters, CVG isn't a bad place. I've never seen a homeless camp or burnt out car there soooooo.......there is that.

They did answer in the interview recently I had, they said they aren't sure how it will work exactly yet mainly because that is being sorted with Amazon since the flying depends on Amazon. It sounds like you will live where you want near a major airport and they will positive space you to pick up your aircraft and then positive space you back when complete. CVG certainly one of the locations that will be flown from, probably the main one, but may be others depending on where you pick up the airplane. The A330Fs will not have a crew rest area so will be limited by time vice aircraft range so does not sound like anything further than HNL from the mainland, sounds like mainly domestic flying. Still a bunch of unknowns on the HAL side as they work the details with Amazon. My ear is to the ground.

Does FedEX operate using 117 rules? Hawaiians frieght operation will be operated using our passenger ops rest rules. From what I heard the first couple of 330F aircraft won’t have a crew rest facility, but the rest most likely will.

I am throwing a flag on this one. There will be some sort of rest seat/bunk. Otherwise no go.
