I second this? Is the list senior or Junior in age?

Also, what’s the MMG for Freight pilots?
How many days on/off per month?

Is it true the freight pilots’ schedule can be changed anytime it needs to be without repercussions or pay increases? If that’s true, pilots need to consider that a bid just becomes days off/on like WGA and others. I’ve been in this game a while and hear K4 guys thinking to make the jump.

List is mixed, retirements are 20-30 a year for the next number of years.

Mmg for freight is 75 hours for 16 days of work. So 14-15 days off per month.

Correct there is no premium for reassignments within your awarded pairing, your’e pay protected for what you were awarded or actually fly. It will be done under FAR 117 and bidding will be via PBS, with a required percentage of 4-6+ day pairings. No one has any idea what the flying will look like right now.

I think there is a PDF of the TA floating around. The only problem with leaving for Hawaiian now is that you might not get awarded the 330F in your new hire class.

My understanding is that the company was going to hire freight only classes to ensure that a pilot that wants CVG, actually gets it.

Thanks! That would help with decision making.

the most junior person in training is a Nov 2021 hire. So 14-15 months from DOH to flying the left seat. I said it could drop and probably will but it’s not 5.5 months from DOH just so people aren’t misled

Nobody is misled, the 4.5 month 767 pilot at Delta for example, everyone knows that’s when they can hold it, so it’s 4.5 months. This sort of thing is when you hold it. It’s a common understanding.
We’ll have a Captain training for the left seat in the 717, in April, that got hired last April. The award was at 4 months. There may be a March hire training next month, we’ll know tomorrow when the monthly bid comes out.
So as not to mislead:
April 2022 new hire received Capt award for 717 from the August 2022 vacancy award and will train this April for that position.
-4 months
-8 months
-12 months

Is it true that Hawaiian doesn’t pay for lodging during training or has that changed?

The hope of getting CVG was the only reason I applied.
