It's just a training backlog. Will go back to normal in February most likely. 16 hires each class or so, and twice a month.

I feel you. Fyi, it took 6 weeks from CJO to the class date invitation for me.

I read on an older post that 717 upgrade times were something like 5 months, is that true? if so does it go senior in the new hire classes?

Yep, but there’s reasons why. Long duty days for not much credit, fatiguing pairings, no crew meals and the company is offering even less rest (9 hrs vs current 10) in this TA up for vote.
