As far as taxes go. Nothing is worse than knowing your $$ ever went to the rail, or the States running of the airport and hangar builds. We can't even get food in the new concourse because of HI Gov. regulations. Ive never seen a concourse with zero food options in it. It would even slightly make up for it if the beach parks had semi decent facilities. (Like non rusted out trash cans or clean restrooms)

Thank you. I’ve been saying just that and then all the humming and hawing. The senior freight captain led the negotiations on the thing. Leading by example tells me it can’t be such a bad deal. Especially for a commuter. The explosive growth allows them to cast a wider net with all the basing options.

Not only the lead negotiator, but the MEC chair went as well. You know they have some "extra" info going into it because honestly there really aren't that many flights into CVG from most of the gateways. This isn't the old CVG from the Delta days.

Ha Ha! I'll take 3-day HNDs and SEAs any day as opposed to sitting airport reserve from a Motel-6 on the DTW airport perimeter. For two days in a row. And I commute from LAX. Give this 2-3 years and see how fast these freight dawgs come back to the PAX operation. The exception being the pilots living in the eastern time zone. A 2-leg 10+ hour commute to HNL would still be worse.
