A handful of roughly 3-5 year pilots who live Central-East Coast.
And then there are some who moved to Texas and Florida over the last 2.5 years to live in the better run States.
My guess is the top five-ten may be 10+ year pilots. (possibly a few Seattle/Vegas/Phoenix guys may increase the number)
The remaining 18 or so may be the Junior mainland pilots living in Central/East USA. Or more junior single Hawaii guys chasing widebody upgrade, those may be the 2-4 yr seniority.
The next vacancy should have the remaining 42 Captain slots, those will go really junior (or a few senior guys may bite after they see what the schedules/flying look like)
I think the top of the list will be senior, middle of list and below will be really Junior (junior as far as widebody Cpt goes)
As far as FO slots... almost all newhires
If you are relatively new or get hired shortly, my guess is you will have a 330F Cpt opportunity when the next batch of a/c arrive in 2024. Anyone on property now for 1+ years has a realistic shot at getting CVG 330F Cpt. if they want it. It may not happen this vacancy, but I wouldn't be surprised if a really junior guy or two.
If anyone browses realtor.com, sees what you can own over there for 1/4 the cost of Hawaii, that may change everything.
