There is a monthly cap of 90 hrs, but during busy months they can raise the cap to 95. This cap does not include premium and double time pay. It’s just the straight credit. Anything worked over the credit cap gets put into a “bank” that Has a cap of 25 hours. That bank can be used during months that you credit less than the max credit so as to bring your credit up to the max credit. It’s a system that I personally dislike and there’s a large sentiment that it should no longer be in the next contract. Example: January bid you work 100 hrs. You get paid 90 and 10 hrs goes into you bank. In February you work 75 hrs. If you want, you can use your bank and get paid 85 hrs and your bank would then be back to zero hours.

On the flip side, you cannot drop below the min credit of 75 hours. You can trade trips and get down to 60 or 65. This is also something that hopefully is being looked at in negotiations.

Along with what 808 has expressed, additionally, there is no picking up on reserve. Currently in the 717, reserve is still senior. Bid lines are going to new hires. The power of a bid line is to trip trade and drop. Yes premium trips are available, but increasing less with the amount being hired. The “bank” mentioned can be filled to 25 hours then used to maximize up to 95 on a standard non flex up month. So that will most likely be gone in the next contract. So count on a line in the 717 as a new hire and flying up to 18 days for about 75 block and 90ish credit if you want to work that much. The 321/330 are occasionally seeing junior reserve and lines later with seniority.
The mystery is when the freighter bid comes out and how that disrupts seniority.

wow, that’s very restrictive… it’s like they don’t want you to make a lot of money.. I consistently credit over 100 hours every month at my regional, very easily

In one of the most expensive States in the Country... Where's the Equity in the D,E,&I pyramid... It's like they want to oppress us. I'm triggered.

(it's early, I couldn't fit in all the Liberal # words in before my morning Joe)

congrats!
I would hope more pilots from ACMI carriers apply and get hired, ie. ABX, ATI, Kalitta, etc.
we get one or two occasionally.
I heard there are a couple more Kalitta guys coming over.

I do foresee some ACMI guys coming over for the cargo operations. Time will tell though.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but our freight rig will pay 6.8 while the other ACMIs pay 3.5? It could turn into a stepping stone job but if it pays well then many will stay.
