trust me I’m about the last person to believe rumors, and not too many pages back I thought it could be a recruitment tool, but I’ve been told it’s happening by someone that wouldn’t have reason to lie.

Default Call regarding First Officer app?
Missed a call from someone in recruiting yesterday who said it was regarding my First Officer application. Anyone else experience this? I imagine it has to do with the new application process and they are calling people to tell them they have to resubmit one?

Could also be waiting on a contract to be signed to formally announce, the numbers don’t add up for just “proper staffing” of the airline. I also received an e-mail from APC advertising first officer positions at HAL which is new for recruiting…shows they’re not backing down.

I can also confirm that the have been telling interviewees and new recruits that a ONT/LAX base is on the table.

Yeh I had the same thing. I've had no luck getting a hold of the recriuiter again.

Just got off the phone with one. It was just a reminder to submit the questionnaire that was sent after the application submittal. I hadn't gotten a chance to finish it. But hopefully good news if they are bugging guys to finish up the submittals for review.

Does anyone really think a west coast base will stop anyone from leaving to United, Delta..? I don't think so.
