We’ll easily need 500+ pilots for the 10 78s alone. Including any more flying in the 330s once the 78 arrives seems reasonable to hire as we are for the foreseeable future. We haven’t filled the recent vacancies that have been awarded.

Also sounds like the 787s will be growth, and not just a 330 replacement in the near future. Hopefully they exercise the 10 more options for the 787 too.
Wish we could get more 321s now as they want to expand west coast flying, but looks like they're holding out to see how the XLR performs.

Hawaiian is the most conservative (not politically) place I've ever worked. There is no way we are incurring all the training and employee costs 2-5 yrs before the planes show up. Nearly doubling the pilot group while losing $40+ Billion a quarter???
The 4th floor is retarded, but not that retarded....Hopefully
