Hot diggity dog! Too bad it's still less than everyone else, but it's a good start.

Default FO window open

First Officer application window is open. First year pay increase of $81/hr and an additional 10k bonus for new hires.

Where did you see that? Their website doesn't have an "apply" option under Careers: First Officers, unless I'm missing it.

It isn’t on the first officer page like it usually is. Is on the job listing board, if you click “apply now” on the careers page, you will see it. Here’s a link as well.

Is it open indefinitely? Could this affect those who have interviews scheduled already, i.e getting pooled or do you think this won’t affect hiring too much?

Not sure how long it is open for. Everyone goes into the pool after interviewing. Usually drains in order of interview dates.

They timed this whole thing, pay and incentive with Women in Aviation that’s going down right now in Nashville, and another event at Perdue U.
Apply, look for the email invite to interview, pick earliest date!
I was told in the interview, hiring for the foreseeable future…!

good luck all !!

Default Potential Applicant

Hello! Always been a reader, but never a writer to these forums. Over the past few years I am been contemplating throwing an application into Hawaiian. I just noticed the application for First Officers has reopened again and had a few questions for those who work there. Thanks in advance!

1.) I saw the pay increased for 1st year. Are they thinking about also doing hotels for initial new hire? When does Health Insurance start and is it good?

2.) Is there a choice for aircraft in initial or is it pretty much 717 out of the gate?

3.) What are the schedules like for each fleet and is the QoL okay? Hoping for multi-day trips, versus turns as a junior FO. How are layovers and do you find them often to be shorter, or is there a mix between short and long?

4.) How happy are the employees and flight crews? Does Hawaiian Airlines treat their employees well? I've flown on you all plenty of times and have had great experiences, but my perspective is only outside looking in.

5.) What are min days off, per month?

6.) What are reserve times looking like?

7.) Upgrade times?

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate your time! Just looking to find my home. I've always thought Hawaii was that place and have been soul searching these last few months. Just want to make sure this would be a career fit before applying.
