Would you advise someone w 1650 TT and 400 TPIC from flying caravans in AK 135 to jump ship to a regional or continue building TPIC at current gig? Pay is pretty good at said operation, but Hawaiian would be the ultimate career goal. I realize it wouldn't hurt to put in an app now just for the heck of it

If you wanna get hired at Hawaiian, Skywest is number one, there have been 50% of each class from Skywest recently, a scattering or Envoy, Republic, etc. Aloha is hiring continuously. Good starting pay around $85 with familiar local flying.

true there have been 3-4 in each of the last two classes, but not a place to get stuck at if not hired. Yes, 757, oceanic and etops experience but that place is a disaster.
at least NAC and Aloha have a decent union contract.
