Good lord guys…🤦♂️
My biggest complaint since being hired at Hawaiian the better part of a decade ago was the lack of transparency coming from the company. All I was doing was relaying the info that was relayed to myself. I will happily go back to keeping my trap shut whenever I hear anything.

IF anything happens, you will read it in the news the same time the Hawaiian pilots do. ALPA might get a call a few hours before a press release. That's just the way it works. Only upper level C-level employees and specific managers or directors will have any idea, and they will be bound by NDAs federally enforceable by SEC restrictions to include jail time.
My take... S.S.D.D.. "That's the way we've always done it." No merger on the horizon. Maybe a west coast base by the time DAL or UAL has a base on Mars. At least there's hiring. Good luck to all.

The company is planning on continued growth with what’s looking like a Southern California base and expansion into the mainland. As of now, all new aircraft will be growth…so anticipate upgrade times to stay the same if not go more junior for the foreseeable future…
Disclaimer: Nothing official yet on the new base.

Honolulu Civil Beat
Searched the HCB but cannot find it. You mind throwing a link to it? Always interested to see what reporters/media think about airplanes/airlines without much airplane/airline knowledge.

There's no benefit to buying Hawaiian for any airline. We don't own any precious gates. All we have are pilots, aircraft, mechanics and three slots in HND. Any other airline can replicate what we are doing.
