I have heard this although I don’t buy this one. I have heard that the 25 per month with an attempt to have 250 for the year by December is accurate. Question is what seats will that many pilots be sitting in. I don’t think they are that eager to staff a plane with questionable delivery times, I think it’s something else.

The 30 new hires per month, 5-787 crews on next vacancy and the SoCal base was directly from a conversation with upper management. This wasn’t a formal announcement… To be honest, it seems a little aggressive to me (with the current back log in training) but time will tell.
On the rumors front I’ve heard everything flying around from mergers, to flying wide bodies for Amazon. I put little merit on any of these unless I hear it from a valid source.
