Just in…the company plans to hire 30 pilots per month for the next year straight. The next vacancy bid should have 5 787’s worth of pilots in it…

I find this hard to believe considering training has a hard enough time getting 10-12 new hires trained in a timely fashion.

Yeah I do not believe that at all. We will be lucky to have one 787 next year at this rate.

The numbers of applicants would likely increase with an LAX or other mainland base. Some of us rather fly for a smaller airline but can't move to Hawaii and don't want to commute.
