Interesting to see news hires will get to go to MIA, Montreal and ATL, (321,330, 717) respectively .

Disclaimer: Nothing official yet on the new base.
Hawaiian used to have pilot domiciles in LAX and SEA a while back. Interesting that they're considering going back.

pretty wild that 717 FO only has 32 pilots with the rest being vacant. Most of those 32 are also new hires that can’t move anyways due to seatlocks. Training and scheduling is already having a hard enough time keeping everyone current and qualified. It’s gonna be an interesting summer for sure.

If you roll with the west coast base and flying I could see it as a separate fleet doing flying that doesn't overlap with the current one.

openings
A330---55
A321---26
B717---49

this for a company with about 860 pilots total

Alot of it is to backfill the 787 and the increase of attrition.

Default Timeframe from interview to class date

Hey folks, what’s the time frame looking like for interview to class date. I have an Army School coming up this summer and I would hope to at least on board before it starts if the interview is successful. What interview prep have folks used recently? Thanks for the insight!

Are interview invites beginning to go out from the latest round?

Try Holly H. with Cage Marshall, she lives in the islands and knows a lot about HAL.

But obviously, no guarantee

I assume NH fleet assignment is purely based on SSN and no preference given to existing bus drivers? Would it take long to get on to the 321 if assigned the 717 in training?

2 year seat lock but odds are very good of being awarded 321 in class. Lots of spots to fill. Every class has locals that want 717 it seems.

You could come in with A380 time and that won’t mean jack for where you fall in the class. This is a seniority based airline.
