And why is he gone from PSA? He was in my new hire class and seemed like a pretty cool dude that got along with everyone. I'm not sure of his past but that should have no bearing on his job at psa. If someone tried to get him fired that's so messed up. Just remember this is small industry. Karmas a b*@tch and be sure you will get yours if you had anything to do with it.
Can you imagine the backlash and liability if this person was involved in an aircraft incident were people died and these videos resurface of him riding wheeling shoes through the terminal?

This job is all about your past. This is why we have Pria records. If airlines didn't care about your past then they wouldn't ask about training failures, DUIs, or other crimes in the list. Your past is used as a reflection of your decision making capabilities. I'm not saying people don't learn from their mistakes (I certainly have!) However the airlines can't afford to take the risk.

Ok I stand corrected. The point remains. If you are posting pictures and videos of yourself on the internet for all the world to see then you need to be aware that the airline you want to work for will most likely see those pics/vids and use them to evaluate you as a potential employee and will have to consider how the public will respond in the event of an incident/accident.

Ok. So whoever did the hiring hadn't seen the videos. All it takes is someone who has seen the videos to complain to management or some ate up Captain refusing to fly with him because of the videos. In the case of PSA, maybe someone at AA heard about him being hired and wasn't ok with the fact that he would flow someday. If 10 years from now this guy is in the right seat of an AA 320 that happens to slide off the runway during a snowstorm in PHL you can bet it will be all of 10 minutes before these videos are on the news. We as pilots know the videos have no bearing on the incident whatsoever but people and the media will still be asking "how did this guy get hired in the first place" yes it's stupid, but it's also a possibility.
Again, I'm not even really talking about this specific incident, I'm just saying if you want to be considered a safe and professional pilot be aware of what you post on social media.

Holy sh*t, I almost forgot about this guy!!! Those videos were so cringeworthy....I honestly thought he was just trolling all of us....boy was I wrong, LOL! So he got fired from Mesa and was just recently fired from PSA? Smh....the guy did it to himself.

I find it kind of sad that a person cant have any voice whatsoever in the community, and that completely a shadow of is the only acceptable path, but his videos were super cringeworthy, he never wore a shirt in any of them and the thr subjects were like, pilots and fas having sex and like his views of morals on the subject. They were just awkward as hell. But words of advice, having too much spotlight is not good, See Global Girl, her media platforms went from several posts a day to a post every other month for a while basically overnight and all because of a few articles on news sites I've still to this day never heard of. Mostly probably becuase a certain family high up in politics was also named. She is still just kind of keeping a low profile to this day. Or her hush money ran out. Word on the street is she can't get hired anywhere anymore, she's been flying a desk for a few years.

It's been a "thing" now for a while for people to post their daily lives on YouTube. There's even a bunch of pilots on there though airline guys seem to be much less and usually foreign. I don't know how narcissistic you have to be to post videos of yourself flying a plane and talking about your layovers at the courtyard flying your RJ. They make it seem like they are promoting aviation but come on, your only followers are kids that just started to grow their first pube.
