I just watched a locally produced story on the Dreamliner that may be worth a watch. It's 20 minutes long and includes:
Logistics including the LCF
Comparison to Airbus
Global supply chain
Union concerns

Not too bad at all. A lot of local interest, but KING 5 is a Seattle TV Station after all.
I’m about halfway through the book mentioned in the story; “Boeing vs. Airbus”.
Not exactly painting a favorable picture of either company, but I am only halfway through it. Perhaps he will tidy it up with a happy ending for both.

That was a really good video. The footage of the composites being used and made it pretty amazing. I wonder how much of a weight difference there would be if the same exact wing would be made from steel. The lack of rivits would mean a lot however do you think it will make it harder to replace parts?
