Default Anybody ever try to lug a folding bike around

My scapegoat for not doing anything on layovers is lack of mobility. Has anybody ever tried/has recommendations for something like a folding bike, or push scooter, or something? Don't want to be obviously carrying some gigantic bag with wheels and **** sticking out, but I wonder if there's something tiny and inconspicuous that you guys would recommend that you've used. Aside from having a way to get around, I just think it'd be nice to bike around a little.

Seriously, I've seen two guys bring bikes with them on trips at FedEx. Granted, we have a little more flexibility in arriving at the airport with it and room to stow it. One guy was a serious 100-200 mile a day racing bike type. The carrying case looked like a big, basic suitcase. Square (a few inches larger than the diameter of a typical racing bike wheel) and about 8 inches wide. It had wheels for pulling it. Somehow the chassis folded/disassembled for stowage inside as well.

The other guy's bike was more for just riding around town. It had two different size wheels and disassembled/folded up. I can't remember much more about that one other than it made me think of the moped and fat chick joke when I saw it.

In my opinion, either one would be tough lugging around on a typical passenger airline trip with multiple legs and switching airplanes. I don't think either one would have fit in an overhead or typical crew storage areas, so you'd be trusting it every flight to your rampers to "carefully" put in the belly.

These days, my vote would be Uber or public transit (depending on the city).

Welp, that about solves that. Uber works, I just thought it would also be fun to bike around and see things that way while getting some exercise. Maybe I'll just get a dumb razer scooter.
