I think there was a nat geo about trump and his airplane when he got the 757 and how the flight crew spends hours polishing all the gold finishes.

Politicos don't run airlines, but if you're asking have their been any airline CEOs turned politician, just google it. I googled "PBGC American Airlines" and found out that an Obama appointee saved our fellow pilot's pensions. Is that not an example of a politico doing something good for people? What would a Trump appointee do?

Wow, you have fallen for an incredibly stupid scam. Take a look at the books from the very gov you trusted:

U.S. GAO - High Risk: Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation Insurance Programs

This is easier than shooting fish in a barrel, you really don't know what you are talking about and have no clue as to the reality of your position.

You didn't read the articles, Jungle. The PBGC refused to accept the pension responsibilities and forced American to honor their commitments. We all know the PBGC can only pay pennies on the dollar. That's why the head of the PBGC refused to take on the obligations. American wanted to dump it all, but instead could only freeze the benefits because a 'politico' got in their way.

You have had a lot of trouble with math in your past, even with simple sums.

Did I disrupt your worldview? Show me where I'm wrong. It doesn't need to be a fight, we can learn from each other.

We have better duty and rest rules, higher airline pilot certification standards, low energy prices, a 7 year bull market and post-merger work contracts. Remember 2008? Bankruptcy contracts, furloughs, age 65, vanishing retirement/upgrade/movement, catastrophic oil prices, and a global financial meltdown. Come on Bozo, we're better off now, right?

Actually that was the 2006 change to the PBGC that made that happen. I guess you should thank Bush. BTW that same 2006 law made it unlikely some of us will ever see an increase to our A Plans.

Of course not. The point is that you present a fairly absurd challenge.

The question at hand is how he treats his pilots.

While I can't answer that because I don't fly for him, I can point out as a basis of fact that he is one of the breed of corporate raiders that completely devastated the airline industry. He may be a great real estate investor but he will never be a great political friend to pilots.

As always, we will all vote for your priorities. With only two choices, we will have to compromise our morals to one degree or another. You may like Trump's stance on immigration and his chest thumping bluster, but don't ever be confused about his distain for wage earning union employees and his favoritism for their employers.

Not at all, we have seen a lot of this type of knob slobbering before, and I know you enjoy it but it isn't going to help.
